The Database Export Tab

Databases now have a tab to export all of the values in the database into a CSV file. After you click on the desired database, click on the export button to see a screen like the one shown above. Then just click the big yellow button to download your CSV. The file will have all of the values, the response assigned to those values, and the validity of those values (1 for valid 0 for invalid). This way you can have your database online, offline, and whenever you need it.

WOW … This is huge!

New Feature: “Allow Users to View Other Users’ Scans”

You now have the option to”Allow users to view other users’ scans” meaning any user who is assigned to your service can see all scans conducted, no matter which device scanned them. This will display all scans in the history tab of the codeREADr App. This feature is useful for grouped events such as ticketing shows or inventory checks when there are multiple devices and multiple users attempting to cross reference scans.

If this is left unchecked, a user will only be able to see the scans that were taken on his/her device. This will help if you need a service that requires confidentiality between users.

This option is available for any service. on codeREADr.com Just click “Edit” on any of your current services, or create a new service, and go to the “Advanced” tab to find the option.
